• Remote Learning Meals

Changes to Meal Service

  • Effective Sept. 2, 2020

To ensure that every child has access to nutritious food throughout the school day, whether learning in person or at home, the Avondale Elementary School District will be offering free meals to all children ages 0-18 daily at grab-n-go locations. This program will be in effect until further notice.

Meal distribution points are located on each school campus. Meals are available Monday through Friday between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. Please refer to the maps below for exact locations at each school site. You may pick up meals at any location, regardless of enrollment.

    Additional Important Information

    • If your child is unable to be present during meal pickup, a registration must be on file. Registration forms can be found here

    • While not required for the current free meal service, we are needing all families to apply for meal benefits online. Completion of meal application directly impacts federal funding for the district. Please help us maximize our federal funding by filling out this form.

*As part of the National School Lunch Program, we are required to comply with USDA regulations.
